New Jersey emcee Rich Quick has released his hip-hop inspired Butthole Surfer’s track ‘Salt’. Quick’s witty interpretation of this classic 1996 rock song (originally called ‘Pepper’) is one of many remixes Rich has ready for release and demonstrates his unique rhyme patterns and flows. Earlier this month, Quick released the video for ‘Travelin’ Man,’ the debut single off this summer’s EP, Sad Songz which recently premiered on respect-mag.com. He has also released an ode to underground rap with the remix for ‘Travelin Man’ featuring Reef the Lost Cauze and Rakaa Iriscience of Dilated Peoples.

Born in Jersey, Rich has been part of the Philly hip-hop scene for over a decade. In 2002 he released his first solo project, Get Rich Quick. In 2004, he released his LP The Movement. By late 2005, Rich caught the attention of Exponent Entertainment, a Philadelphia based hip-hop management company, and has been signed since. In April 2012 Rich Quick released the mixtape I’m With The DJ, hosted by DJ NoPhrillz and Benja Styles, which garnered acclaim on websites like Allhiphop, The Source, RapMusic and more.

His forthcoming EP, Sad Songz, will be released on Ben Frank Recordings this July.
